Thank you all who attended. As promised, it was a chill, modestly competitive eve where no one lost their shirt and all had fun. Thank you to Shawn Gabbaie for helping plan a great event. 🙂
Co-planners will reach out soon.
Most likely mid-to-end JANUARY 2018!!!
Plus Monthly Informal Hang
Some expressed desire for more networking and just finding time to hang.
With that in mind, we will initiate a monthly informal happy-hour at a local bar
or man cave to drink + talk madmen style – no pressure – whoever shows
shows. For networking. For decompressing. For avoiding going home (totally
kidding – buy the flowers and bend the knee!). MARTINEZ, holla back at me.
We’re trying to raise a collective $300 to donate to the school to cover the cost of a brand new tree to planted near Miss Lilly’s Class! Anyone who wants to donate $5-10-20-50 (whatever)
feel free to PayPal me at email@example.com
or use Venmo (@broekman).
Was hoping we’d make it happen last night, but we focused on tipping our dealers and covering our prizes so that most walked away happy.
We won’t formally write again until we announce the next event so
POKER WINNERS – BRAGGING RIGHTS!
Props go to:
1st Place: Michael Forman
2nd Place: Mitch Reyes
3rd Place: Grant Kim
Joined by awesome Miguel and Johnny (2 of our 3 dealers – I purposefully waited for our 3rd
BlackJack Dealer to leave).
CLOSING CEREMONIES – See those of us who lost are still happy. We will not “jump”
anyone in the halls for losing the next day.
READY TO ROLL WITH TWO FULL TABLES! Told you were were going pro with this.
Fully stocked fridge with cold drinks of all varieties. Modest snacks. Next year, will go full Myles/Jeremy catered dinner again.
In case you like to see a nice stack of chips and the dealer button moving around.
We’ve officially kicked off this year. RoscoDads gives us Roscomare dads an opportunity to get together during the school year to eat, drink and hang with some old friends and make some new friends.
We will hold “Dads-Only” events and dinners – a way for dads to connect and find out about what’s going on at Roscomare and to help volunteer for school events.
